I don't wear maxi dresses myself but I am a sucker for making them. Not that I've made many, I just indulge in ogling pictures of them.
The 1970's immortalised the maxi dress and skirt. And even though the hippie culture was no longer as popular as it was when it had started, the 1970's produced even better hippie trends, my favourite being the maxi dress. Even more so if it had an intricate print.
When I gathered enough inspiration from Vintage Patterns Wikia and the designing process was put into motion I decided to go with forest green. What better colour than that of the rich earth to make one feel like the Goddess Diana roaming her sacred land?
A Look at the Inspiration...

The fabric is so light that it makes the dress airy and breathable, I'm sure it's a dream to wear even in hot weather. I can even see the dress as part of someone's vacation wardrobe being worn on a day out shopping in the local market.
The dress is at the moment available only in size S. Sizes M and L are available for private commission.
