What a cute little play set. I made this a number of years ago with some scrap poly cotton I wanted to get rid of, but it was so long ago that it felt like the first time making it.

I chose soft denim as the main fabric to give it a more modern look and a floral poly cotton as the contrast trim. I love the bright purple against the dark-ish blue and the specks of yellow in the trim is a lovely pop of colour, too.

Children's play clothing wasn't too shabby for 1950. It's too bad I don't know any 4 year-olds. I would love to see what it looks like on someone. It would be perfect for the beach, as well.
